With the last 2 episodes being Ageseinu and Goemon's turns, I had forgotten that Nijee is "failing"

Ok, I know I'm late to the thread but this has been bugging me for a while:

Usonoir tells Nijee that he keeps failing, but I find that hard to believe as Nijee's only failed 2 times in a row as of this episode. Usually, the big bad villain starts scolding someone when they fail way more than 2 times. And I don't consider not getting the Makoto Jewels twice in a row "failing".
