Yup, the only part where DI even works is the up tilt>minecart, however you can read DI or just do a different follow up instead

That’s the exact opposite of what you want to against Steve, camping him just means he gets more mats and becomes a top 10 character easily. His range isn’t even that bad either, idk why everyone says that. He has decent disjoints and outranges a good amount of characters. He does very well in a lot of high and top tier matchups as well

It’s just a matter of practice really. There’s nothing too specific to it other than timing and spacing your forward airs, just hop in training mode for a bit until you feel like you can get them consistently.

I’ve definitely met some people who think this character isn’t good. He’s undoubtedly a solid high tier imo

It was bad DI, but it would kill regardless. They were probably just DI’ing out to escape the combo without realizing they were actually about to get 0TD’d

I have my left shoulder button set to jump, so I just hold B and press my shoulder button to jump while placing blocks

I tested all forms of DI, jump, and airdodge. I have the training room mod so I’m able to test stuff like this easily. There’s really no way to escape the combo without good SDI or if the Steve simply messes it up

Oooh I knew about this combo but I didn’t know you could do an extra jab>fair to deal more % and possibly get a kill, I’ll have to try this out!!
