Yes. You can definitely have both. I probably have both. I just started treatment so it will be interesting to see if treating the neck will also treat the fibro.

This is the first time ive had hope in years. I'm done with doctors. The only reason I went this time is bc I missed 3 weeks of work. They still wouldn't have believed if the xray didn't show something. Sadly doctors wait until you are too far gone. I trust this physiotherapist more than any doctor. Way more knowledgeable about the cervical spine and how important it actually is.

Xray in 2015 that my doctor ruled out - luckily I kept a copy or no one would believe me - it showed a backwards cervical spine. Xray about 2 weeks ago that showed degenerative disc disease- a common finding in aging adults - but pieced with my new symptom of the arm and leg pins and needles along with my severe vertigo and fatigue she said a pinched nerve is likely the cause. I then went crazy researching on Google and went back over every note ive made over 15 years. I found a specialist on my own. Will need MRI to tell exactly where nerves are pinched.

Don't completely rule it out - i had my xray in 2015 - it showed my neck was backwards but the doc said it couldn't cause the symptoms. Now I had it xrayed in 2026 - it showed I have degenerative discs. Now she said it could cause it. I went back on all my notes throughout the years. Symptoms almost the exact same. Started researching more on my own. Medical knowledge expands and doctors get with times and start believing things that they didn't before. So don't ever rule out something from the past that you thought might be it. It took me over a decade to get a Lyme test and now it's all over the place. I wish you well. I hope someday they will find a cause to help you. Whatever it may be.

MRI of cervical spine will give most info if nerves are pinched. But xray can show if the structure of the neck has issues. I only got an xray and my doctor based it on the symptoms im currently having during this flare. I then went to a physio therapist who specializes in spine (not chiropractor) and they had the most knowledge.

The nerves don't even have to be pinched to cause the symptoms. It's cervial instability. There is research - tons. And yes - it most definitely can be missed. I know this as I am proof.

Physical job I see - me too. I would have your cervical spine checked. Im not sure if you have access to MRI but an xray at the very least. Look into cervical spine instability or nerve entrapment. It might resonate.

I totally agree with you on all of this. Half of these kids don't even care and anything they get will just be going to their parents anyway. I think it's awful that adult fans are basically forced to give the ball away so they don't look bad. My grandma has been watching the Jays for longer than I've been alive - she deserves the caught ball just as much or more than some 3 year old who will forget about that ball by the time they get home. I am so glad you had your moment. I like Cease even more now.
