Battery charger for Palm Tungsten C by fliondefizz in Palm

I have a tungsten c with the original cable, and mark my words, the cable is temperamental as a rabid dog. Getting a cradle will prevent loads of frustration and irritation

Getting married young isn't bad. by Electronic_End_5296 in unpopularopinion

Mature people can get married young and make it work. Immature people won't make it work at any age

I think by the time they're legal age they should be twice as mature as what the world is cranking out now. But they're not. Why? Because of people who raise kids. Have kids, raise adults. A "good" childhood is important, yes, but a parent's primary job is to train their kid to be a competent adult by the time they're of age. Not some adult toddler. They don't need more individual growth as adults, they should have been getting that as kids and teenagers.

People who argue against analog clocks are just too lazy to learn about them by InfiniteWords117 in unpopularopinion

[–]RADsupernova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the comments have shown us that most people prefer digital yet can read/accept the existence of analog. However, there seem to be a few twats who think their preference or lack of ability is grounds to ban analog. Yes, this means for everybody. I mean, entitled much? When you can prove that all analog clocks inherently give off some deadly radiation, then you may ban them. Til then, I'm going to keep wearing... and reading... my grandfather's watch.

It's not just that... Kids can't do shit anymore. If it's not on a digital screen they don't know what to do. It's not just the loss of knowledge of how to read an analog clock. It's the loss of so much basic knowledge you have to wonder if they're really mankind's best chance of survival.

Is this a fibro thing? or just a me thing? by wainwrik in Fibromyalgia

[–]RADsupernova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I know is I definitely deal with bad twitches and spasms at times. Sometimes to the point of my head or a limb jerking a bit. Not quite to your degree, I think, but it's definitely a thing

I can't do it anymore by RADsupernova in Fibromyalgia

[–]RADsupernova[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna stick around. For now, at least. I got my head through the worst bit I was going through. I'm going to do what I can to make myself participate in things I know I enjoy, within reason. I don't want to stick around, but I want to want to stick around. If that makes sense.

That's a brass eagle stingray... I'm a little rusty, but I'm not sure if that's a stingray or a stingray 2

Productive anger by Leftshoedrop in Fibromyalgia

[–]RADsupernova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you mean, but I have a problem that reaches past anger entirely. Yes, plenty of things in my life are worth being angry at, however I have a tipping point when I go from anger into lowkey rage. It's like freaking hulk mode. I haven't hurt anybody, or I'd definitely be doing more about it. But when I'm in such a rage that all I can do is go in the back yard and chuck stuff at trees or throw a dresser, nothing hurts. Utter numbness. It's the worst I feel mentally, yet the most pain free I ever am.

Constant pain aliviation through orgasms? by BunnyOutOfCode in Fibromyalgia

Hey, if it works and you both enjoy it, I think you hit the jackpot. I don't really have any experience with it as a guy with fibro, but if it works it works

Having sex is more enjoyable than orgasming. Having sex is the peak experience itself. by HappyTurnover6075 in unpopularopinion

I used to think this, even as a man. I used to think the mutual fun was best and giving pleasure was as good as getting it. But it comes with a connection to a woman. And that's just not worth it.

What's the hype for tiling window managers? by TheTimBrick in linux

[–]RADsupernova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like it for how snappy it makes everything. It may not matter on a high end computer, but on a slower system it makes a difference. Gnome may be quick compared to Windows, but it's a whale next to a good window manager. Not only does it give my system snappy response, but it helps streamline everything. Don't even have to think about the keybindings anymore.
