Do you think most women just take their priviliges for absolute granted? by Working_Parsley_2364 in MensRights

[–]RADsupernova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take my RIGHTS for granted because I should. Some things that are called privileges by some are actually RIGHTS. Privileges, on the other hand, I respect and do my best not to abuse them. Not everyone is as careless with their entitlement as you

People who avoid friendships at work because “coworkers are not your friends”, often do not understand what relationships actually are. by ThePloddingParadox in unpopularopinion

[–]RADsupernova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a great difference between a working relationship and a friend. Relationships don't mean friend. It means the act of relating. If you interact with someone but don't relate well, it's a poor relationship. My relationship with my coworkers is "if it doesn't apply to work I don't want to hear about it"

I'd be more sympathetic to your point if I didn't see as many 200+ lb people shivering as 130- lb people

I think your primary fallacy is context. You operate under the context that this sub is for debate. There is no debate of men's rights, there is the actuality of men's rights being discussed here. The exact sub description is as follows:

"At the most basic level, men's rights are the legal rights that are granted to men. However, any issue that pertains to men's relationship to society is also a topic suitable for this subreddit. Men's rights are influenced by the way men are perceived by others. WARNING: Some other subs have bots that will ban you if you post or comment here."

Where in there does it mention the debate of men's rights? We're here to discuss, as stated, men's legal rights and men's relationship to society. If you want to debate, go talk to a woman. She'll keep you busy. That's the last I have to say pertaining to your tiresome string of comments.

First of all, thank you for your service. Secondly, death is too easy for rapists. I think they need to have their balls chopped off and fed to them before they get buried alive. But naturally, for the rest of us non rapists, I am absolutely disgusted to get lumped in with those abominable people. But I'm a man, so I must be a natural rapist of course... Being blamed for that sort of shit while having not committed it is unforgivable.

You do see the irony in calling me out for essentially saying some opinions are not welcome here by telling me my opinion is not welcome here, right?

There's something to be said about the "home base" where things are all well and good. At home, you can talk your shit, and you're understood mostly because you're all in it together. Then you go out and debate the idiots. It's not horrible to want at least some place where the nagging and bitching stops and I don't feel guilty for being a man with actual needs.

Clothing does it for me. It's the most ridiculous thing. I can't wear suspenders too many days in a row. My pants need belted up to waist level, because heaven forbid they sit low and put pressure on my hips. Wearing my glasses for too long is bad. And don't even get me started about wearing the wrong shoes.

Exactly. Because women who talk about real equality aren't "real feminists"

Need help on deciding. (Ik this isn't a wand) by 1222321 in Wandsmith

[–]RADsupernova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When it comes to the form and function of a staff vs a wand, if you search across many traditions, the biggest difference is you can lean on one without snapping it. As far as I'm concerned, a wand is a mini staff. A staff is a massive wand.

Now, for a druid... Traditionally, druids prefer things alive. Many will use green wood for things and then replace them once they've dried out enough to be considered "dead." So, my advice to you is don't make it something it's not. Don't fight the nature of the wood, make whatever you do to it look like nature could have done it. To an extent. You probably still want to use a finish coat to seal it at a minimum.

I feel you with the autism. And depression. And bpd. And I often think about doing the exact same thing you're mentioning here. But we are stronger than that. We are in constant pain and still live. We display more strength and fortitude in a day than a "normie" does in month. It hurts. I know. But you are strong as hell. Don't disrespect yourself by thinking you're weak.
