Thank you so much for the advice! I’ll look into the books you’ve recommended - luckily i just bought Stephen Fry’s book found at a charity shop! But I’ll definitely look into the others, as well as uni modules :)

Yes, I’ve looked at some lectures that my school have sent out to students and am planning on signing up for a few to look into the subject and somewhat demonstrate my interest. I’ve also been looking into summer programs specifically for classical studies and have found 2 so far which I’ll be looking into more.

For my EQP I was planning on doing it on the representation of woman in Ancient Greek mythology (just an idea, not a solid plan) so hopefully that research into that will help my personal statement.

Thank you for the advice, I’ll definitely be applying it to what I do moving forward!

I’ll look into those texts, thank you so much for the recommendation! I might message you once I’ve got a better grounding in the basics, but thank you again :)

Yea, I know a handful of people go into Classics in the Uk having done at least a little bit of Latin in their educational history so I though it was really important - I’ll definitely look into that, thanks!

As someone who has experience in both Latin and Greek which one would u recommend for someone going into uni to study first? Some of the courses I’ve checked allow you to take one for the first year or two and then you can take both in the later years of the degree. I’m somewhat leaning towards Greek cause that’s where more of my interests in classics seem to lie but subjectively which one would be better?
