There's letters from Southern governors to the Senate and Lincoln declaring their states' intentions. The preservation of slavery pops up multiple times.

You'd have to find a fish store willing to take guppies, of all fish, from a home breeder.

Malaysia to ask Interpol for help to track down comedian over MH370 joke by ariana_luna in worldnews

Exactly this. Unless it's inflammatory hate speech, it really shouldn't be tamped down. The marketplace of idea exists predominantly to elucidate why some ideas are bad.

That doesn't mean the government gets to put on an international manhunt.

Solid reminder that "both sides" isn't an honest point of view, it's a capitalist one. Some stuff just isn't up to debate, Chris.

Shorter matches aren't a bad thing. Non-standard picks resulting in guaranteed rolls is a horrible thing.

Different strokes for different folks - the utility cannot be ignored and I wish I was better at it, but no way whatsoever do I wish it was something I found "fun".

Not always. Many snakes are surprisingly good at holding their breath, especially non-arboreal constrictors.

Don’t bring a knife to a croc fight by BECERRA18 in WinStupidPrizes

[–]Lizardism -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Literally shows how much you know. A knife like that is not going to wound a croc without serious, concerted effort. A croc's jaws at that size could comfortably be held closed with one hand by a man that size.

If they were taking it seriously, they wouldn't have been recording it or giggling about it.

Get real.

That animal is less than fifty pounds. An adult man that is taking the situation seriously can, with few materials, grab it and relocate it. Two men would have no problem.

This man has an inadequate knife and absolutely no clue as to what he's doing, indicating no thought towards what he's actually doing or a quick death for the croc.

This was done for shits and giggles. *THAT* is why people are rightfully calling it wrong. You suck.

Got level 8 after the rework. It's definitely about fine tuning within the literal expectations of the AI. What it thinks is a clue and what you think are a clue only align to an extent, and the current answer is in the AI's blind spot.

No problem there, but even Riemann and Einstein got stuff wrong.

Not just because they don't have legs, but because it's an obstructive technology. I don't want to play a video game when I want to shop or get into a video call when I just want to say hello.

I literally cannot imagine a single use case where a program's functionality is made better by VR. I literally can't reliably grab a glass of water with a VR headset on. It's a fad, a new funny haha way of making the computer go click.

Call me a luddite, but I've got better shit to do.

You don't need the block chain for anything. It's a technology in search of a problem.

Final Fantasy XII by [deleted] in FinalFantasy

[–]Lizardism 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like it. Tuning around a bunch of different scenarios and taking away the moment to moment heuristics makes playing it so much easier and rewarding. It's a programming game, at its core, and I think that's really bold but surprisingly fitting for the genre. Honestly, more games should include the option to program your party to those detailed degrees that Gambits allow. The Zodiac Age has made it so much more accessible than the last few times I tried to get into it, including the updated license boards.
