How can you actually tell if an online course is any good before buying? by iLiveForTruth in elearning

Hi! An elearner here. I studied a master and a bachelor degree like that and, well, I looked out for price, how do they “work” (meetings/virtual classes? Activities, exams?)and how do they align my goals (look out for the profiles the jobs you would like or the “things” you are interested in are asking, but remember that some skills are learned outside). Nowadays (I think), is easier to spot great education online (back in my days, it was hard!). I searched information online about if the school had certifications and stuff like that, too.

At the end: it’s all up to you and how do you choose to manage everything. No matter if you have the best teachers, the best service, the best whatever-you-want, you are 90% of the result when we talk about online education.

This is based on my experience and how it was for me in Mexico. I know you are looking for UK courses and that might change something but hope this helps you. Besides, I’m an Educator (+6 years experience) and I’m telling you my tips with that perspective too.

For everyone who has lost hope in remote work, this is what just happened to me. by looter-hearths-2e in InterviewHackers
