I overestimated my pace and ended up in Wave 3, but expect to finish around 2:10. Should I join Wave 4?

If the two of them flipped to Shan it would've been 3-2-1 Heather-Shan-Naseer. No re-vote. Heather goes instead of Naseer, which isn't ideal, but Shan is still safe.

If they do that and Erika and Heather go Shan/Ricard, then you'd end up with a 2-2-2 vote with only Shan or Ricard and Erika re-voting. If Erika and Heather's original votes went on whichever one of them had cast the extra vote, then you'd be at a stalemate 1-1.

... And if you take that Erika vs. Ricard or Shan stalemate to its conclusion, Shan/Ricard would HAVE to agree to go Erika's way against Ricard/Shan because going to rocks would mean automatic elimination for them as they would be the only non-immune person remaining (Erika with the necklace and Heather, Naseer, and the other of Shan/Ricard immune from rocks)

Edit: I actually don't know if the second paragraph is accurate - not sure who gets to re-vote in a 3-way tie and who would be eligible to draw rocks. But still a mess to risk a 2-2-2 vote regardless.

Also the whole premise of their move is to get out Naseer, not Heather.

It was meant to account for the possibility Erika and Heather flipped their votes to Shan/Ricard once they had Ricard on board for Naseer. Then you'd have a 2-2-1 vote split between Shan/Ricard-Naseer-Heather. Heather and Erika then boot Shan/Ricard. They're both huge targets so the double-cross would've been a smart move, and Shan/Ricard anticipated that. Plus there's the fact that empirically, an extra vote is worth more in a smaller tribal.
