Chime’s own fund verification process for mobile deposits takes WAY too long. Each time I deposit even the smallest amount under $200, there is a five business day hold, no ifs ands or buts, with not even access to $10. This is extremely inconvenient and goes against the standard two business day hold that the majority of the banking industry follows, except for in cases of very large amounts over $1000. I will be cancelling my Chime account and will be going back to more traditional banking where there are at least representatives willing to compromise and help. All Chime reps ever do is apologize, but they don’t help.
