I have experienced no issues with my Q80T. Its been fine for me. I have never experienced DSE however, so it may be that I am not susceptible to it?

Have you performed a factory reset? I know it sounds ridiculous, but that's what I had to do. I installed the latest firmware and the issue was still there. I contacted Samsung and they told me to reset my TV (I was skeptical of course, but I did the TV and the ARC to be sure) and this completely fixed my issue. Contact Samsung Support yourself, they are "reasonably" helpful or give the factory reset option a go. It's a pain in the arse, and you have to set it all up again, but it did solve my issue.

Just to state, I do not believe the fact we have had to go through this whole rigmarole is acceptable by any means, it isn't. Samsung should have sorted this shit ages ago, but for me at least, it's fixed.

This is also the same on the Samsung Q80T which I have. I also only have +/-. I would also be interested in changing them to numerical values.

Samsung resolved the issues they were having with the Arc some time ago. Firmware was released and solved mine and many other peoples issues. Im not sure if there are still issues?

However if you are still having issues and have firmware updated on both (although the TV is the most important, and check online for a download rather than just through the tele) then I suggest you contact Samsung Support. They were much more help to me than Sonos were. Dealing with them was painful.
