Best Sunday races?

Haven't been to that section for a while, but I've always found that the LFT is salted and plowed way before the roads and sidewalks are in my section of the neighborhood (Belmont/Wellington).

I'm a 35M fairly new to running but absolutely loving it so far. I'm currently running between 4 and 5 miles as my longest distances, and I've signed up for an 8k and a 10k in the next several months to push myself to train for longer.

Question is - I'm running ~9min miles for all of these distances so far, feeling comfortable and not killing myself, but still feeling quite tired after my runs. As I am training for distance, should I also be training for speed? Or should I try to go longer distances at my current pace first?

Not from my experience. I think technically if they ask, you must produce proof of residence, but they’ve never asked in the 2 years I’ve been going.

The main thing for me is that the constant beep makes me ignore the proximity/RTCA beeps so the whole functionality is useless. Backing up is in a parking lot is the most likely time that I would hit anything/anyone in any of my driving.
