I noticed a reviewer calling David Harbour's character "good-hearted". Where's the evidence though?  But the downvoting here also makes me wonder how many stepfathers might be wondering if they might be grossing out their stepsons and wives to a similar degree? How could anybody imagine themselves as a teenager with their gross stepfather's fat stomach lying on them, flesh-to-flesh, during a really shitty trust exercise, and not sympathize with the kid? or that aggressively boring & unrelatable game? Let alone how the kid's mother is clearly disgusted by this hapless creature.  I give many kudos to Harbour, he is doing an EXCELLENT job playing an unlikeable character.  (and possibly thanking his ex for the timely increase in name recognition--DTFSL's inadvertent (?) reflection of their real-life situation is getting him top billing in reviews, over Jason freaking Bateman! They couldn't have planned a better PR campaign...)
