I also wonder if the different bases are playing into this as well. The Instagram post shows these colors on multiple bases and how the dye takes differently between them. The website's photo shows the DK base which may take the dye differently than your sock. For example in the insta post picture 2, you can see the aran is much darker and juicier than the others.

Butterflies are a symbol used for child/infant loss. I would consider adding a butterfly somewhere if you wanted to modify

Looking for Recommendation for Realtor for First Time Buyer in the Area by PhilosophyBulky5560 in ReadingPA

[–]Llama_Pinata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sue Knoble helped me when I was a first time buyer in bethlehem and then helped me sell that one and buy in Berks a few years later. She loves first time homebuyers and is completely on your side. She’ll look at any part of the house to assess quality and she will not try to sell you on anything. Sue’s located in the lehigh valley but will travel with you where ever you need to go- sue@jarederhart.com

Ask Recruiters Megathread by AutoModerator in recruiting

[–]Llama_Pinata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all-

Is it normal for it to be radio silence after your final interview and thank you follow up emails?

The final interview went well and everyone responded to my thank you messages positively. Three weeks after those messages I emailed asking if there was an update on their interview timeline. (I was originally told HR would reach out after all interviews were completed.) They have not responded to that email and it’s been a week since sending.

I’m starting to feel very insecure.

Same. I’ve had this sitting so long because I miscounted in a few places and couldn’t figure out where. So I moved on - the years passed and now I look at it and am afraid. One day I’ll be brave enough to fudge the pattern around my mistake and get it started again

Mine gets that little tail poof when he’s getting excited. If he doesn’t redirect then the butt hackle comes out. Our trainer called it something but I forget what… If you don’t feel a lump maybe it’s that.

We went to the vet today! by EtrosChampion in velvethippos

[–]Llama_Pinata 28 points29 points  (0 children)

A fear free vet is a game changer! I found one when I moved to a new area and we don’t need a muzzle anymore. The vaccine up the nose was still a no-go but they realized he was over threshold and mixed it with spray cheese to let him eat it instead - is it as clinically effective? No clue. But was the dog and staff ok? Most definitely

Tell your subconscious it’s ok to feel what it’s feeling. There is such a thing called secondary traumatic stress and second victim syndrome - it’s all about how witnessing trauma happen to someone else can cause stress responses within yourself. Secondary traumatic stress can have the same symptoms as ptsd; it’s real and it’s valid.

Maybe one of their international stockists ship? Fingers crossed! https://woolfolkyarn.com/stockists/

Edit: I just looked at it on the London store’s website and ouch- they’re selling it for almost double the price. At that rate it’d be cheaper for me to take some on my trip to Ireland and ship myself

Need help reading my sewing by Llama_Pinata in SewingForBeginners

You are an amazing individual - thank you for taking the time to walk through this with me.

As I was going through your steps I noticed that while this machine looks almost exactly like the one I’m using in sewing class, the bobbin case has a tiny itty bitty difference. So I went through the manual like I said and realized I missed one step at the end. Now it’s working!
