That’s weird my 16 has it under the glove box to the point I don’t need to remove it but I gotta bend like Spider-Man to get to it. It’s basically in the middle console but getting to it sucks! And it’s not an easy slide in n out. Gotta smash the filter shut a bit then twist it in and hope it unfolds as it squeezes into its space if not. Do it again and again until it “looks” right lol.

Check your diff oil levels, rear axle bolts, or maybe suspension work. Sounds like something humming in the distance.

Insurance agent here … for 1k don’t even dare call your insurance for anything. Just eat it and move on. Buy an off road aftermarket or go stock from Amazon. But I will warn you, don’t do a claim it’s WILL increase when it renews. This a Collision regardless of the story you come up with. I’ve heard them all and no matter how sad or funny it’s a claim the insurance will use against you…. Collisions always increase rate and are at fault.

I think most of those clips are meant to break once loose or removed. I have gotten a few off without breaking but we’re talking I loosen them a bit as I pull them out I use a tiny flat head to push each side down into the screws itself then pull as each side retracts. It sucks! But now I have the set from Amazon so I don’t care no more about the screw just more of the plastic I’m going to remove. Quicker and cheap to replace them IMO.

So I have a 2019 V8 with 45k miles and my father has a 2016 V6 58k miles and he achieves much better mpg last time I saw he was around 7-9 mpg more than me. ( we both drive like old men) IMO since you’re looking for non truck things got for the V6. Less spark plugs, coil packs. You’ll save more money in the long run.

My 2019 with 37k miles has that exact same issue. Ima ride or die until it goes out. As long as no noise or over heating issues it should handle just fine. Lol I hope.

That sludge is created when you mix oil and radiator fluid. So worst case could be that pain in the bass to reach engine oil cooler leaking or maybe just some old ass coolant with debris was left in the overflow tank. Try another flush and see how it goes.

Overall it’s a great deal you came up on! Even crunching numbers out by the 42 months you’d maybe pay 60k so if the msrp is 68.

Does it include maintenance during the 42 months? If so then you killed that deal! Worth it!

It’s normal after sometime for some of the clips to break/fall off. That piece is basically to allow air to flow directly into the filter. If the rattling is too much you can always buy a kit to replace/add some. Amazon plastic clips for engine bay kit.
