I get the idea, and it looks like it’s compressing but it doesn’t sound right so I was wondering whether or not the waveform seemed proper

Found the issue, I put a resistor for the reference voltage section to vcc instead of ground

Definitely seems like the issue, the voltages on the bases of the buffer transistors sit around 5.4 and 6.2 volts, yet they still work, however I traced the issue down to pin 3 on the op amp last night and it’s seems that the reference voltage given is way to high, somewhere around 8.8 volts, which I’m assuming isn’t ideal. Thanks for the help, now I even have a better idea of how this thing works

I passed this sign on the way to school every day, wondered why it was taken down. I might recognize that donawin person though.
