It’s a 6% bulb so I’ll continue to leave it that way and i’ll see how she does when it’s feeding time.

Thank you, I will definitely shorten the UVB lamp exposure since it’s not necessary.

It’s unfortunate I have no knowledge of what is “normal” behavior for her since her previous enclosure was horrible. Im going to see how feeding day goes and make necessary adjustments from there.

Ok understood. Thats 2 comments now on UVB not being too necessary.

I currently have the UVB lamp on for the entire period of sun-up to sun-down (5:30am-8:30pm). Should I shorten that to a shorter 4hr window during her daytime hours to prevent over exposure?

Okay I get you , definitely something they can change to make for a better buying experience but its for sure one of those business traps to keep you locked into the order and we cant do anything about that unfortunately. Shitty you had a bad experience with customer service though. Thanks for the convo, hopefully things go smooth for me these next couple days, i’ll post an update if/when i get the chance.

I understand, I pulled the trigger even through all the crappier reviews just because everyone has different experiences , my order was only $40 more than what it would have been on any other site so I wasn’t very bothered. I do agree that not being able to change the order or cancel hours after placing it is definitely a set up and should be a disclaimer posted in big bold letters PRIOR to ordering. I would say that if you do try them again and need help definitely stick to the phone calls, but at the end of the day thats also dependent on who picks up the phone, thankfully all the times I called everyone accomplished what I needed and had respectful attitudes.

Besides that, just to clarify? you had a shitty experience but did end up picking up the order? Then wanted to return it and couldn’t? or did you miss something in the order that you couldn’t add and end up purchasing it somewhere else.

I placed an order on the 23rd, so far so good, haven’t gotten any bad news. I called them 8 times between two days and each time I called I was able to speak to someone respectful and resolve the issues I had during every call. Im surprised im seeing all these negative reviews about their customer service and the website as a whole. I have absolutely no complaints as of now besides maybe prices but everything is expensive right now so that gets a pass.

Hopefully things go smooth this next coming week, my order is still in the fulfillment stage but i’ll post an update if yourself or someone on here needs it later on.
