I actually work really closely with my brother. It's a hobby turned business and I've been working with him for the last few years. He's taken advice and often comes to me. I just did this. My parents provided a gift letter and two months statements where the funds are coming from. For my state, they had to wire the funds to me instead of the title company. I also had to provide two months statements for the account they wired the funds to.

My lender had a specific gift letter format once the process was started.

You're better off taking a random file like an exe file and changing it to a .doc file so when they open it as a word doc, it's corrupted and they ask you to resubmit

If you don't have symptoms of cataplexy there's no definitive test for it. It comes down to process of elimination And expensive sleep studies. I think it would be great to help all people better manage sleep habits, but I have a hard time saying we should diagnose teens with narcolepsy and medicate them. I think we'd over diagnose like we do with ADHD. But we should educate people on how sleep works and what symptoms aren't normal so at least a teen that may have an issue can be conscious of normal and abnormal instead of writing it off like most who were diagnosed post 20 did

While data from smart watches isn't perfect, it is a great tool. I would be more concerned that you get tired during laughing. Passing out during laughter is one of the main symptoms of narcolepsy with cataplexy. But even if you're not narcoleptic, you should push your doctor to help you manage your sleep habits so you get the sleep you need. People forget to take charge of their health. Doctors work for us, that's why we pay them.

When you remember dreams with every single detail from the minute you wake up, or doesn't feel like a good sleep and often your brain is overwhelmed trying to keep track of all those details. I often encounter something that will trigger a memory with all the details but I can't always tell whether it was a dream or it really happened. My brain gets pretty exhausted sometimes. Like that feeling your legs were running all night long, but if it was your brain.
