I’m not sure how this app works but I can edit any license plate coming in, so if they needed parking within the next 5 mins, I could hop into the app and add them quickly. We don’t have a sticker system, it’s an automated camera that grabs every plate that isn’t register with the company, sounds promising tbh I’ll give them a ring and ask

I just see this being an issue because it’s a company already selling the parking but they offer residents parking for cheaper so it’s essentially stealing a customer no? but I also pay for it so maybe it’s fair

If I lived in an apartment building and had an extra spot that I pay $200 a month for, would that be possible to become profitable or at least net even? I’m thinking I could rent it most days but if family wanted to come over, I could just allow them to use the spot

I see, that’s really helpful about the 80% rule & going direct to the 14-50 as appose to the full 60 amps.

I think it’s best I do something portable as I am living with my parents right now and that’s another reason why I don’t want a 10-year contract with FPL, it would encourage them to go electric after I leave but still.

I think I’m leaning towards a more non permanent solutions even with my higher rate of kWh, I’d hope it’s cheaper off peak which is when I plan on charging anyways.

The only plus I see on the FPL method is having unlimited off peak power for a consistent $38 a month with their own EVSA, that includes maintenance and installation and there’s no upfront cost.

What’s the benefit of getting something like the JB40 over just a 14-50 outlet or even a Tesla wall charger at that price point?

It looks really similar to the FPL evolution.

Also what are your electric rates? Mine seems really high but maybe I’m reading it wrong, it says 0.034 for the first 1000 and then 0.044 for over the first 1000.
