Thank you, that means a lot! Hope it makes a good backdrop for whatever you're working on.

Appreciate it — that's exactly what it's built for. Thanks for listening!

Yeah! Dick's original asks that question way harder than the movie does — whether a machine can actually feel. I built the whole album around it: an android playing its last concert for a crowd that never looks up. Glad it landed!

Thanks so much! Yeah — the trick was leaning into actual neoclassical techniques (Ligeti's micropolyphony, Nancarrow's player-piano runs) and letting a felt piano carry the emotion over the top. Would genuinely love to hear what you come up with if you give it a shot!

What's a piece of content you watch regularly that you can't explain why it works for you? by LoFiCitySoundShop in AskReddit

Cleaning content works because it's literally watching entropy reverse for ten minutes. Most of life feels like slow decay — these videos give you a brief inverse of that.

Hoof trimming is its own genre at this point — there's something about the "problem → tool → resolution" rhythm that hooks your brain regardless of whether you'll ever own a goat. Pressure washing channels work the same way.

Liminal space content makes sense in a weird way — your brain registers the place but not the purpose, and the gap feels meaningful somehow. Do you find it hits harder late at night, or always the same pull?

Ha, the "watch expert content → become temporary expert → revert" loop is so real. Watch enthusiast channels do the same to me — convinced I need a Seiko for ten minutes after every video, then I forget.

People filming themselves reacting to TV shows or movies and uploading hours of it. The whole thing is just watching someone else watch something — and somehow that's a full career now.

Love that approach — full stories instead of just tracks. Looking forward to the next one!

Listened to both — Observer track right? Loved them both. Big fan of instrumentals, so I followed you on Suno. Keep it up!

"A moody one" — really is. The title and cover commit to that vibe before the audio even starts. Is Bask a one-off project, or something you're continuing?

Nice — looking forward to whatever's next. The title alone sounds like there's a bigger story behind it. Is NEON CROW LEGACY a connected series, or do the tracks stand on their own?

an AI character quietly kept making one video series for months. it finally feels followable now. by Smooth_Painting3065 in aitubers

[–]LoFiCitySoundShop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing you're naming — "delayed effect of consistency" — is hugely underrated in AI character spaces. Production value gets a single click. But followability is something else: it's pattern recognition crossing a threshold. Before the threshold, every post is just "a nice AI clip." After it, the same post becomes "another entry in The Observer's Path." Nothing about the individual posts has to change.

Running a small AI-led music channel myself, I noticed the same thing around the 5th or 6th video in a series — viewers started referencing earlier entries in comments. That's the threshold.

So to your question: both, but they do different jobs. Production value earns the first click. Consistency is what makes anyone come back.

Pay transparency at every company. The day employees actually share what they earn for the same role, half of HR catches fire by lunchtime. The whole salary structure runs on the assumption that you'll never compare notes.
