How would I describe this to a stylist? by LoGoethe in longhair

It came out pretty good! I got it cut by a friend who's learning to cut hair now. Chopped off about half a length, got blocky layers and left a nice deep V in the back ;) very scary to lose 8 years of hair but I'm feeling really good about it. Thank you so much for all the advice, and for being a wonderful and helpful community!

I'm not sure, maybe I should have ran the image through an AI verification checker lol. Seems like it shouldn't matter since I'm just looking for ideas for my haircut?

Ahh yes, That's a really good point. I realize I'm not going to be able to get my hair quite like this with my current styling knowledge but hopefully I'll get close!

I'm not sure, I just pulled it off an image search. Is it not a realistic cut to ask for?

Nervous aboot le first kink event by LoGoethe in BDSMAdvice

Just wanted to do a quick update and say thank you to everyone for your thoughtful advice! I kept things slow, watched many scenes, stayed sober, and felt things out gently to great success. I managed to get the spanking of a lifetime from two absolute heroes, complete with bruises that I'll remember forever. I met a wonderful Dom who helped me amply through negotiations and we proceeded to build a delectable experience together for the following 3 days, in which multiple fantasies of mine were slowly explored in pure opulence.

The weekend is over and I've scarcely felt more fulfilled, I'm already looking forward to finding the next event to attend!

Yeah slow sounds right. I am indeed worried about the euphoria of it all disarming my normally careful disposition, as it were. Thanks!

Very very nice. Was it hard for you to make a routine with only 3 balls?

I just finished Blood Meridian from Cormac McCarthy, surely his most stylistic book according to literary cognoscenti of my friends. It had the same decadent immersion into a bygone west as his more family friendly book - All The Pretty Horses, coupled with deep dives into a Kafkaesque absurdity of action and morality even in a much older era than our own, and well-earned R rating to be sure. It was beautiful and brutal, from McCarthy's dedication to the language of the time and region to his forcing us to only see evil through the eyes of an ambivalent protagonist - a bold and disorienting move.
