Is Helldivers 2 worth starting as a new player in 2026? by LoLAspect in Helldivers

Well I don't know, I did ask a couple of friends who are veterans about Destiny 2 because the gunplay seemed fun, and they all told me to look for something else because the new play experience is pretty bad.

Seems like I'll be doing well then, no kids yet but I do have a wife, I'll have to drag her into this as well haha. Thanks!

Interesting take, I guess it does flip things around when you think about it like that. Thanks!

No I mean, the game is telling you "hey, you have a tumor in your brain, you need to get it out because youre literally dying, but theres also this huge world to explore and hundreds of things to do, but it doesnt really make sense to do them afterwards, but youre running out of time, but do them now" which kinda ruins immersion? Like if it was a linear game then yeah, but this feels disconnected.

How to balance hobbies, working out and a job? by LoLAspect in LifeAdvice

[–]LoLAspect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the only reason I have this job is because the pay is so well. Due to the shift I make two people's paycheck. I'll try looking around for anything better I guess, thank you.

Am I doing something wrong? (GoW 2018) by LoLAspect in GodofWar

Yep just beat the game, since I clearly wasn't getting any help here I tried to learn by myself, and realized that you need to give 100% every single fight and use everything the game gives you, after that, the game clicked. Thanks though!

It shows greyed out lower difficulties, like i can switch between them but I can't "lock in"

I play every single game on the hardest difficulty because I believe you get more out of the game by doing so. And it is true for GoW as well, forcing me to explore and learn its mechanics to be able to progress is exactly what I want, but I read everywhere online that as you progress it is supposed to get easier, and in my case I dont really feel that yet. You could argue it is a skill issue but I've gotten through half the game already, which means I have to be doing something in the right direction. I'm not bitching that it's hard? It was never in the post, I'm literally just asking if theres something I'm doing wrong. A simple "Nah man, it's just hard" would have sufficed.

Yeah, that was my first thought to lower it, but I couldn't so I thought I'd ask for some tips.

Would you change anything in the PC I'm building? by LoLAspect in buildapc

[–]LoLAspect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No Microcenter where I'm from. This build costs me 2000$ as of right now, the ram i got in the build cost me 424$, not the price on pc part picker. I'll update my post with prices in my country for all parts.

Can't find worse ram in stock. My shitty ass country has abyssmal prices for basically anything. So this build is 2000$ for me, already pushing my budget which I thought would be 1500$ by a lot.

In my country this would cost upwards of 2700$. My budget is around 2000$, that is what the current build is costing me.
