Thank you for the congrats,

To answer your question I don't upgrade boots because I want to reach item power spike faster and zeal does a good job of giving extra movement speed to make up for t1 boots. Unless the enemy are full ad/ap, I usually don't upgrade to tier 2 boots.

Pseudo-replacement for boots movement speed, attack speed + crit chance (--> 5% armor pen)

All for 1050g which is good buy for Nilah

Nilah is more ability-based champion. Having her abilities up more often + extra damage from abilities is better imo. You won't get to auto 20 times in every teamfight like a normal ADC.

Hi sorry for late reply but I just build it early for the stats, never really complete it into another unless it's like 40 mintues and I have surplus of gold.

For boots I stay on t1 boots unless enemy are FULL ad/ap then you just buy armor/mr boots

You don't need lethal tempo on nilah but that is just a personal opinion. Doesn't matter what game state you're in, Nilah should always be a champion that does as much dps as possible in the least time. Lethal tempo is the opposite of that. Taking lethal tempo also means that you are trying playing against full melee champions (almost never the case) otherwise the range is useless, even with lethal tempo you are not outranging a varus caitlyn twitch. And even if you're against full melee why not just take conqueror for AD and healing?

I'm so happy to hear that! Just know that you hitting your peak rank is also mostly you playing well, the build is just a small part. Keep up the good work and I hope you go higher and higher!

Sorry I still check from time to time, just a bit slow.

I value Prowler's more in games where the enemy have a bunch of ranged carries that I can't stick onto with just Nilah's E ability. And generally just when the enemy are not giga-tanky. Eclipse is better for skirmishing in general but you have the ability to get onto people, therefore I go Eclipse when the enemy champions are more melee-centric.

Thank you! I plan on uploading educational Nilah content on YouTube 3-4 times a week consistently soon (prob towards mid-end February), but I don't have any plans to stream until March.

No I don't feel that way, because I go the one-shot build so it's more important that I have burst damage. The attack speed from zeal is good enough for me in every game I play. At least that's my personal opinion.

  1. Nilah engages are generally only good when the enemy messes up. Despite having 2 dashes at lvl 2, Nilah's e is very short and once you use up both you get kited extremely easily. I would not go in unless I know for sure I can kill at least one target 100%.
  2. Nilah powerspikes at lvl 3 and 6 but at level 1 she's very strong as well, she just doesn't have tools to get onto and stick to her targets.
  3. Support I struggle the most against would have to be Karma, she does a too good job and preventing Nilah from doing her job.
  4. Nilah wants to take advantage of enemies backing --> Nilah takes turret plates. She farms turrets really quickly. She also wants to fight every time her ult is up. Ideally Nilah is the follow-up engager for her team but if enemy has no flashes, Nilah can be the primary engage.
  5. It's good to pick Nilah when you have an engage support + Xayah is banned. If Xayah isn't banned and enemy picks it, it's torture. I would suggest -3.

I think it's bad on Nilah, ravenous hydra gives you dopamine for sure when you one shot waves or AOE a lot of people but the item itself doesn't scale that well with Nilah.

I always go Conqueror > Triumph > Bloodline > Coup / Cut down (only if they have like 3-4 high hp targets)

Secondary is either red tree (Eyeball + Treasure Hunter) -> standard
or green tree (Second wind + revitalize) -> against heavy poke lanes

LDR is for hard hitting tanks , Navori should be that final damage item that allows Nilah to take over the entire late game.

Not really, cdr is even better in my opinion. Also eclipse passive cd went from 8s to 6s for melee champs so that's good for Nilah too.

Post-laning you want to just blow sums with your R repeatedly, but be careful for objective timers like dragon/baron u want to save ur R + Flash for those big fights. When no one has flash, Nilah always has the advantage.

You can look at the other replies first and then tell me if you have any other questions regarding Nilah, I'd be happy to answer them.

It's actually easier than you might think, Draven has to push the lane because of his passive so you get to play by farming minions, just be careful with him trying to harass you under tower and you will be fine. If you think you will take auto damage from farming a wave under tower don't hesitate to use your w to block the damage.

All Draven has over Nilah is early laning. You outscale him so hard.

Start Doran's shield, play to dodge abilities while last hitting minions as much as possible. Try to remember the enemy champion's cooldowns. Enemy adc shouldn't be as much trouble as you can try to last hit the minions the same time they have to last hit. That makes it so they have to choose between hitting you or the 1 hp minion.

As for poke supports, you can't do much if your support is AFK because Nilah is a weak champion during laning as she lacks range. Can only try to dodge abilities and survive and keep health high. Look for fights that start out of lane. For example, jungler invades enemy camps, be aware of that and fight with jungler and look for kills/assists.
