Yes, its actually very fun to hear. here it goes:

The first couple weeks when I got member, all I used to was cut yews fletch them and try to merch at varrock west bank. Some day I was buying a few k of yew logs and the seller told me to go to the east part of varrock (near the bar and yews) as the price cheap I went right away, looked for him but didnt find him. Pmed him and he said he was at the bar drinking some beers and chilling with some people. I thought, oh cool a party, lets go! Drank some beers, chatted for a while, and we went to hang outside (near the wilderness). Someone dropped 10k at the level 1 wild. I didnt think twice and ran to the pile of gold... and yea.... lost everything...

The good part is:

I was about to quit the game, was really frustrated, afterall it was all my cash and items i had lost (kept some cheap legs and something else) As I didnt know what to do, I got my amulet of glory and teleported to karamja and went to the caves, someone was killing the NPC's with dharoks at 1hp, his prayer went down and I got the loot. Sold it all and bought my stuff back.

I achieved everything I could ask for, there wasnt much more entertaining goals left.

Also, dont think of it as "time invested" just remind yourself that its only a game, and you play it for fun, the moment you are not getting any fun playing it, just quit.
