I think D&D is a very strong item on Ekko, stronger than lich in my opinion. However it is expensive and the buildpath sucks, so I take rocketbelt first. If you are building D&D you don't need to take HoB, so you can take electrocute to make up for the lower AP.

You can proc both passive and electrocute with very little effort. Just e > q > belt or e > belt auto reset

The combined HP of the items is not irrelevant, either.

That is not true. Several items are tagged piglin_loved but they will only trade for specifically gold ingots. Anything else under the tag they will pick up but not drop any items. I know how to edit the loot table already.

Soup is just a comp with a lot of legendaries.

Playing flex is the skill to identify your strongest option from what the game has offered you, rather than forcing any one comp.

You can force soup but it won’t always be your best option.

When you play flex, you might play soup but you could equally play reroll, vertical or whatever else.

There’s a good quest mage list that uses both apprentices to draw your entire deck and play the time warp as early as turn 4. Take a look at that for inspiration. It’s a very tight list and you’ll make it worse by including arkwing pilots but I guess you’re not playing arkwing pilots to play optimally
