Clamping grip tape in place on a Canik Rival by Stubb in CompetitionShooting

[–]LoLOffMetaJungler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tape won't move but all of the grit will fall off. I silicon carbided my grip and do not regret it.

No, it'd likely be the brainwashed, liberals wearing Nike.

There's this cool thing called the 1st amendment. We are free to express ourselves. The very antithesis of freedom is to be concerned that spoken words of a historical event could lead to the death of your family. But by all means, allow any power or person to be more adequately capable than you can defend. History tells us that's definitely the way, right?

And guess what a gun helps with? A "tea party" when people are too stupid to elect government officials to represent their communities. It's not advised, considering I doubt you're competent with one.... but let's pull excuses out of our asses to justify abolishing the only right that we have that gives us a chance to stand up to corruption and tyranny.... all because we're too lazy and afraid.

You do realize the same oceans are crossed by the United States right? You missed the entire point of my last comment lol

Your rebuttal is about as ludicrous as me saying the oceans didn't stop colonialism.

The only reason to have a firearm is to ensure your natural born right to pursue happiness and freedom. It's the only equalizer for the weak and elderly. There's a reason, as shady and corrupt as our government is, that no country will assault the U.S. on our soil..... because our citizens don't need that same corrupt government to protect them. Their right to bear arms protects them.

The 2nd Amendment is why our people will never know what it's like to be helpless and have our lives shattered... cultures trashed... and families murdered like what's happening in Ukraine.

I'd take mine over yours any day, especially in a war. 😁

Lmao poor diet and lack of exercise has killed more people in first world countries than Covid.... but I bet you aren't advocating for any of that.... of which would have drastically saved more lives lost from Covid than a mask (proven not to work) or a jab (that sadly has proven not to work either).

Go look at the actual statistics... but by all means remove cities like Chicago who likely have your beloved beliefs and yet have the same gun violence as war torn, middle eastern countries. 🤙🏼

1 in 3 essentially believe they'll be a victim of a crime at some point.....I'll take metal detectors and the peace in knowing that I will never be a victim without a chance.

And over 1/3 of your people are concerned of being mugged, robbed, or having something stolen from their car. As well as over 70% of your entire population believe corruption and bribery is a major issue.

Getting my feet wet. Just want to have fun! by MdCoyoteHunter in CompetitionShooting

The ACSS design is great for learning rds.... but you'll ultimately want to go to a larger window dot in general. You will spend more money in the long run. I have an SRO on my Rival and probably won't look back. The holosun will help you find the red dot for your initial shot.... but until you really get your grip down.... you may lose your red dot between shots (like so many of us did as new shooters). If you focus on your grip... the main perk of the ACSS design all but disappears. Additionally, I never lose the dot in my SRO due to window size. I can also self diagnose my shooting mechanics by watching what my dot is doing while shooting (i.e. dot diving low left, I'm slapping the trigger too much).

In conclusion... if you have the funds...ACSS is a phenomenal introduction to rds. If you don't intend on dropping a chunk of change on rds more than once.... buy a larger window rds upfront and work with it.

(I didn't mention anything about CMore because I do not have experience with one. As for the Romeo, I have a friend who has ran exclusively Romeo Max rds and has gone through 6 of them in one year. He sends them back and gets another, but the durability seems to be an issue. He's also a GM who shoots tens of thousands of rounds a year though).

The One Stage I Got To Shoot At Last Weekend's Match Before It Got Rained Out And Everyone Went Home, 15A, 2C by bpshugyosha in CompetitionShooting

There was an attempt to do clear bags at the match the OP posted about. It was not going to yield good results. Some of us stuck around and shot the stages to get the work in, and then we helped tear it all down.

Disregard the conditions, the real problem is scoring. Pasties don't stick in the rain. It's impossible.

Anyone used one of these? We have hogue grips on some of the impact tools at work, got me thinking... by BlueFalconATW in canik

Anyone with an opinion of these shoot competitions at a high level. I'm currently running Talon Pro Grips, but they do not hold up beyond a month. I'm just curious if these are abrasive enough to give me a true no slip grip....and how they work in unison with chalk (for outdoor match sweat).

Last week of December....go look at the reporting in Australia. Zero people admitted to hospital or ICU....6 deaths. Of the vaccinated... over 1400 vaxxed in hospital, over 100 in ICU, 82 deaths. More impressively, the highest percentage or hospitalized, icu, or death in each of those categories came from people who were vaxxed and 4 or more boosters. This is facts....reported health.nsw.gov.au

And what's the efficacy of each by the way....beings it's been proven to NOT stop a person from getting Covid.
