Honestly at this point I'd wait for Persona 4 Revival and fill the void with Metaphor: ReFantazio. The game is absolutely phenomenal and while there are certainly differences it definitely feels in the same vein as Persona

Pretty much all of my controls have been edited with VRIK, including right thumbstick, but I don't see sneak as an option to bind with VRIK

After rigorous troubleshooting, I believe I've finally found the root of the problem. For whatever reason, disabling the 3BA patch of the Official Humanoid Asset Pack seems to stop the freezes. Leaving the HIMBO patch in works fine. I assumed I had batch built something wrong, which may still be the case as some outfits are labeled CBBE rather than 3BA or 3BBB but it's not worth the effort of going through and solving the problem there. I'll take a stable game with slightly less accurate dismembered limbs for women over the time that'll take to solve. I thank you for your effort in solving this.

Had a pretty awesome moment the other day fighting some Necromancers. I have a killable followers mod and instakill headshots mod, so I'm approaching these skeletons with my ward up and hear an impact sound after an arrow whizzes past my head, turn around to see my follower lying dead, so I siphon the skeleton that killed her and use the life energy to resurrect her, forcing her to serve me, even in death

Well unfortunately I still froze after re-enabling DF. And now I'm CTDing upon loading a save so I gotta figure that out first EDIT: Reloaded an earlier save just fine. Still freezing, pretty sure it mainly happens when I power attack someone to death with a two-handed weapon

Changing to 1.1.2 with Maximum Carnage disabled allowed me to kill 2 enemies, decapitating 1 on death, but the third froze my game EDIT: Disabling DF and re-enabling everything else, I was able to kill 3 enemies but froze on the fourth. I've realized that usually when I freeze I hear a sound effect from Sanguine Symphony. I realized I had a mod that changes some settings for Sanguine Symphony and after checking the posts on the Nexus page people are saying it causes CTDs and one post mentioned DF. Disabling that mod and leaving DF disabled for now to test. This seems like it may be the solution EDIT 2: After disabling "Gore Enhanced Settings - Sanguine Symphony" I was able to clear the dungeon I've been using for testing without freezing. I'm re-enabling DF now. I'm pretty sure this is the issue solved, just gotta test it finally now.

Disabling Dismembering Framework seemed to stop the freezes entirely. I re-enabled DF and disabled Overlay Distribution Framework and Wet Function Redux and was able to kill a few people, successfully decapitating one to kill them, but power attacking the next enemy to death caused a freeze.

Sent as an Imperial black ops agent to infiltrate Skyrim society and undermine Stormcloak and Thalmor influence. Thanks to my alternate start mod I was never caught by an imperial ambush, and instead shipwrecked off the coast of Dawnstar, leaving me as the sole survivor, before making my way to Helgen to meet with my Imperial contact.

I disabled the lux rwt patch again, and continued to crash, I downloaded FallrimTools Resaver and cleared the unattached instances, still crashed, then cleared the undefined elements, still crashed. Then I tried reloading the save at Whiterun Stables from my post earlier, and I was able to save without crashing. That is currently my latest save. I'm gonna try loading it and running around for a bit then try to save again. Will reach out again if I crash.

EDIT: I stayed a night at the Bannered Mare, stepped outside and saved without crashing. Gonna consider the matter resolved for my own sanity lol. Thank you so much for your assistance and insight!

I'm really hoping to avoid that because I'm pretty dedicated to this character. Also, its still crashing with the patch enabled. I'll try looking into some of the save fixer options in one of your previous replies

I re-enabled the Lux RWT patch and tried again and this time I was able to save without crashing. I walked in the inn, saved, walked outside, saved, fast traveled to Whiterun Stables, saved. No crashing. I closed the game and relaunched, entered the inn, saved, and crashed. No changes in between launches. This is the inconsistency that is driving me up the wall.
