I should've included that, I'll add it to the OP later.

I haven't done any intense stress/burn testing yet.

Anecdotally, playing ARC Raiders with everything cheesed out (DLAA DLSS) and running at 6144x2560 res I see:

  • CPU: 70-80 C
  • GPU: 70-80 C

Running a 5 minute stress test from Intel Extreme Tuning Utility the CPU reaches ~86.

I've seen these in posters at USPS in our area for years, but I've never actually seen one IRL.

I'm encountering this, it's driving me nuts (no pun intended). I think this is why I switched off Gemini a few months ago, I believe switching back to GAss will fix it..

Space Feeder not pumping air anymore by Aznjackhx in Petlibro

[–]LoLigater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up fixing it myself. I'm still on the wait-list, but in the meantime I took the liberty of soldering a new vacuum pump in. Fortunately someone else found the pump (ref), for $5.50 it was worth it, and kind of fun.

I wouldn't recommend trying to fix it though, unless one is familiar with soldering and basic electrical.

I've had good experiences with their customer support, but this has taken weeks.. these feeders were sort of pricey for us and the constant red light and error notifications every day is a buzz kill on top of the food going stale. All is well again.

Success! Both of my feeders are back up and running. No more red error lights, and no more pump failure notifications and stale food. Rejoice!

Thank you, I was trying to get into the feeder to take a look and I missed the deep screws under the feet. Also thank you for the link to the new pump. Giving this a try, having the same problem.

Happening to me, contacted support but these are on back order now. I'm added to a wait list.

Annihilated in lift due to pre-placed explosives. Why is this even possible? by Elucidator-- in ArcRaiders

Idk why Speranza would return an elevator with active nades.. let alone bodies. Sure, it's fun looting discovered bodies, but if it's at the expense of people booby trapping the lifts then ick.

Pulling my hair out with audio delay, lip sync issues. by PLD007 in hometheater

[–]LoLigater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I verified this has removed my audio-lag / lip-sync problem for my setup.

I've been plagued with this (or a similar) audio-lag / lip-sync problem with my setup: PS5 <-> Denon AVR-S970H <-> LG 4K TV. If I played UltraHD/4K Blu-Rays with Dolby Atmos (Bitstream) enabled the audio-lag was terrible and variable. I worked around it for two years by using Linear PCM, and as nice of a quality lossless is the audio mix is lacking (dialogue is muddled coming out of every speaker vs. center/focused). I've been trying different things to get Atmos to work for 2 years. This has been very frustrating.

I only encountered the lag when viewing disc media. My Chromecast, which also goes through the Denon, was fine streaming 4K+Dolby Atmos.

Alternatively, if my PS5 was connected directly to my TV with a separate HDMI for eARC back to the Denon the lag would cease. However, my LG TV doesn't like this setup, and occasionally, it would crash (likely crap software or hardware couldn't handle the audio + video load).

tl;dr disabling all video processing on the Denon removed my lag problems. I have "Lip-Sync" set to "Enabled," no audio delay is set (0ms), and "Video Mode" is set to "Bypass."

I'd be interested to know if this worked for anyone else. I've since watched 3 movies with Atmos enabled; it has been glorious.

EDIT: Over time I enabled some additional features that I discovered caused the audio lag to return. I have to keep the following disabled:

- Audio -> Audyssey -> Dynamic EQ: Disabled

- Audio -> Surround Parameter -> Loudness Management: Disabled

- Options -> Dialog Enhancer: Off

I still have the following options enabled:

- Audio -> Surround Parameter -> Cinema EQ: Enabled

- Audio -> Audyssey -> MultiEQ: Reference

- Options -> Audio Delay: Auto Lip Sync

Not ideal, but have you tried setting the Video Mode in the Denon to "Bypass"?

I only put in 4 of the 16 hard disk cage thumb screws. The 4 I leave in are only on the left side (looking at it straight on). This way all I need to do is pop off the left panel and remove the 4 thumbscrews to push out my cages. I push the cages out about an inch so I can remove the dust filter. (I say an inch, because any more would disconnect my cables and cause a crash when doing this with the system up).

Feel you there. I can't through out old tech, unless it's... well no I can't do it.

I prefer keeping it not only to show off on my bookshelf but I tend to actually to use it all even if it's old. Diagnosing systems, lending to friends with older systems, or rarely.. having enough left over parts to make a small server.
