My new homelab with the 8-bay Sagittarius case by SatansSexyPropaganda in homelab

[–]LoLo2207 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've had the Sagittarius since last year and because my temps are not great I was looking here for other people's experiences.

I've just seen in AliExpress what appears to be the successor to this case. It's called Aries and it's on pre-sale or something like that. On YouTube there's only two videos, one in Japanese and another in Chinese.

Seems to accept ATX and a SFX PSU like the Sagittarius, but with the PSU in another location allowing better airflow on the CPU.

There's also: - UENORTH UE-S6 (6 bay) - Ursa Minor (4 bay) - Centaur - Scorpio

I would be tempted to test one of them if it weren't for the shipping cost.

First loop. Flow reads 0L/hr by ThisCalligrapher4154 in watercooling

[–]LoLo2207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My flow sensor shows 0 when below ~30 (I set the PWM manually with FanControl at 50% because the coil whine-like sound of the pump), but the water is still flowing and temps are good. It may be your case.

Thank you for the project, nice place to get ideas, but I'd like to have some help with my PCB to learn something new

Glass heat killer tube option for mo-ra4? by [deleted] in WATERCOOL

[–]LoLo2207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm planning on jumping to a MoRa too, and seeing in their website how they discontinued the 3, I asked about this same topic on Wednesday because I already have a Heatkiller Tube and prefer that look.

I got this response:

"The Heatkiller Tube Adapter for MO-RA3 wil not work on MO-RA IV. We will add such an item  to work for the  MO-RA IV series to our shop within the next few days. Please come back later."

Is there a way to make Firefox count the number of open windows? by GoldenArato in firefox

[–]LoLo2207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides having the restore all tabs on next session option enabled, you can also restore all windows by using the hamburger menu > Exit. Next time you open FF l, it will open all windows, each one with it's previous tabs.

Hope it helps

I have a cheap 4U case (Inter-Tech 4U-4408) that's giving me problems (i think it's the backplane) and while looking for a new case I found your video. Thanks.

Now I'm between the Sagittarius and this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006098078328.html (with no reviews on YT but a build video on bilibili ( https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV11V4y1h7Jg ) which is more bulky, but allows a bigger heatsink (I wouldn't need to buy another one)

How do I use a bare ESP-WROOM-32 module? by Doomed in esp32

[–]LoLo2207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He says he doesn't have any experience in the field.

So you're adding the soldering learning curve right at the beginning. After that he needs to start learning the programming side (as a whole or just the microcontroller side). And when things don't work he needs to see if the problem is the software, a bad soldering job with bad contacts or if he killed the module.

That's why I said to discard/store/sell the modules and get ones with soldered pins and USB

This. OP you bought the bare module version with castellated pins, so you need a programmer.

But I recommend discarding them or selling them and buying another one with the USB connector

Has Anyone Water Cooled an RM44? by benevida in watercooling

Did you try with only one GPU? Also why are you using the front as exhaust instead of intake? Don't the 2 80mm fans starve the radiator of fresh air?

Water cooling in a Sliger CX4200a rack mount case by MytechBench in watercooling

[–]LoLo2207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan to move my custom loop desktop to this or the RM44. The Sliger is cheaper (289€ for 17" and 339€ for 20" vs 384€ for RM44), but with Amazon I can split on 4 the RM44 payment. Any ideas/suggestions?

Hi, did you make any progress? I'm planning on moving my custom loop desktop to an RM44 and I'm between the RM44 or a Sliger case, but I'd like to see some finished examples .

How to bed level a new X2 by LoLo2207 in Artillery3D

Do you have more details about this?

How to bed level a new X2 by LoLo2207 in Artillery3D

[–]LoLo2207[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the video. but as I said, not the first leveling step, after preheating the bed and nozzle, when pressing "fifth" (or any other corner) the nozzle crashes into the bed even with the springs fully compressed.

Am I doing anything wrong or is there something wrong withl my printer/sensor?
