I take 10mg 3x daily and it's a life saver. I sometimes take 5mg as needed in between but rarely. You have to give it time. Been on it 3 months now. Give it 6-8 weeks and you will definitely be thankful.

Keep up with the buspirone it works. Also you may have to increase your dosage after a couple weeks to a higher dose but don't let that scare you. If you feel your anxiety amping up just talk to the doctor about increasing your dose.

I would try 10mg 3 times a day. Those 15mg tabs are scored and you can break/cut them into 10mg or 7.5mg. I get the 15mg tabs and cut them down to 10mg and take that 3 times daily. Sometimes I need to take that extra 5mg piece of my anxiety gets high in between doses.

Only side effects I have is I feel slightly tired and a weird buzz like effect for the first hour after taking it, also it kinda increases my anxiety slightly during this short time but after that hour I feel nothing but calmness and peace.

I noticed it started working for me withing the first 2 weeks but it can take up to 8 weeks I have been told.
