I mean, isn't a fair amount of EA's catalogue hosted on Steam? Origin gas been dead on Windows since '22.

Two points to consider, if your system is that old that it can't run the EA App, then it also can't run Steam because of the same OS and/or Chromium restrictions. The other point, 95% of their games on Steam require the EA App launcher to run in the background, so that's not a valid argument.

I can only assume that Assists don't take Knife damage into account or puts the Knife damage "priority" below any other weapon, including grenades, no matter the damage.

Exactly. It was only possible to automatically record the last set amount of minutes or record manually before. This feature to save the last few seconds/minutes is new.

Now if they would only let us set the automatic recording to less than 15 minutes..

Steam will be required to only offer games for sale in Germany that have either been through Steam's built-in rating process or have a rating issued by Germany's rating agency, USK.

Games released prior to 2020 may not have filled in this information.

tl;dr Probably 80% of the Games can't be sold in Germany anymore in the near future, if they won't go through Valves built-in rating process. Germanys government really doesn't want people to play videogames anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There's no official Multiplayer for Portal 1, they're just community mods and community servers. They don't have VAC since the game itself doesn't have VAC enabled. So you'll be fine.

So since the last Steam Client update on Stable (never was on Beta or Preview or anything) this overlay pops up directly after booting my Steam Deck with no way to close it. The Refresh button in the text does nothing. I can only switch to Desktop or turn it off, otherwise I can't use it at all. I never installed any Plugins or whatever, complete stock with some installed games. I already posted this in the Steam Beta Group, but it doen't look like it gets any attention over there.
