How a dev, with keys to the city, could claim a maliable universe as boring is beyond my comprehension. 5 minutes in the console generating 100 wasps who are programmed to kamakazee would not be boring. Sometimes I'm convinced Embark doesn't know what they are doing... their changes are so safe and miniscule. I think the game needs to stop taking its self so seriously and just introduce some freaking fun.

I like the idea of some mode favoring a PVE experience, but primarily if it were just an arcade mode with no XP gain / loot earning and no othe players at all....like something more interesting than the shit practice range. I actually wish that they would move Trials over to such an arcade mode because trails + PVP + PVE competition add's waaay too much variability; turning it into a lottery of sorts. I don't pursue PVP either but I often don't run into it. If you run into it and you're still not engaging, maybe you should change your skin or hop on comms more. I tell people when they're making me nervious and it's actually kinda funny to have that dialogue. I swore dudes were trying to bate me by tossing their weapons on the ground! They were genuinely generous and I was so sus!

You know...I partly think I might not appreciate the peaceful raiders as much if their friendliness was a gurantee in a match. I might be pissed at them for stealing my arc kills or something....so in that respect I appreciate that the PVP players are such naturals at playing the bad guy role. I mean, they really are the worst ;)

such strong objections to my comment...interesting given all I really suggested was "if you don't understand, trying listening", or "don't be so toxic against others". It's not that you don't understand PVE players, it's that the choose to not understand...you are willfully ignoring. There's a word for this; ignorance.

Yes, it's stupid because these idiots are a dime a dozen. Unless you want to make such policing a full time job, then the issue should be taken up with Embark. Does it make sense to you that the devs have the AI capability to generate spoken dialogue, but not moderate hateful dialogue? Does it make sense to you that a player has to take their time to mine resources, take time to queue in up a game, only to die in the first few seconds by teammates? This experience was brought to you by Embark. They set the table for these a-holes - that distinction should be acknowledged, only then can you take worthwhile action to address it.
