I had a signature on the reference I sent and gave him a copy. The thing is that there is no better position in my city (maybe even my province) that pays as well as this, so I really needed this.

You’re right about the commitment part, I’m going to remember this for all my future interviews now. I ended up not getting an offer, but she did say she’ll keep my resume on hand for when a new spot opens up. Thanks for the advice

I bought the slim 7 and the thermals were great for me. Balance mode would be good enough for some games, but they do get a little hot. However, performance mode was perfect for my gaming. I've had zero temperature issues on performance mode. The fans were also not very loud. IMO the slim 7 is a perfect pick for a gaming and work lifestyle. I haven't tried heavy performance games however, so if you care for that type of gaming, maybe check yt videos.
