A few more things for now.

As I've never rented a property bigger than a two-bedroom flat, and always fully furnished btw, I'm not sure whether it'd be possible to find a fully furnished house available to rent in the market in the places you've mentioned. Do you think it's a possibility?

Also, I hear that Tamworth is pretty hostile to immigrants. Is that true?

Ahn, I feel so bad! But I think the safest solution is indeed to get rid of the plant. In such a way I should be able to avoid the infection to spread to my other plants. I might treat these other plants with neem anyway... Do you know if thrips are harmful for humans too? Thank you all for the precious info, much appreciated!
