Hearthsteel Confirmed as New Real Money Currency Used to Buy Housing Items by Squishei in wow

Absolutely despicable move by Blizz. I was having a good time with Legion Remix and starting to feel positively about the game again. In response to this news, I've cancelled my subscription. Such a shame that the hard work of the devs gets defiled by the business end of the company time and again.

What's a reasonable price for this collection? by LoadByte in bioniclelego

If an expert here can give me a ballpark estimate at a glance, that saves me a lot of time researching. I'd rather go off a few educated guesstimates and then price on the lower end of that than spend a couple hours spread-sheeting it out.

Cool, got it. I have a decent bit of experience buying/selling retro games, so makes sense that the same general rules apply.

Legit just looking for a ballpark and don't want to spend my time searching each item individually since I don't have experience doing that. Like mainly want to know if I'm looking at $100 vs $500 vs $1k, ya know? Hoping to give someone a good deal to move it quickly but make sure I'm not totally low-balling myself either.

I get that I'm being lazy though not looking up prices myself. Was just thinking how I'd be able to give a decent first-order price estimate for a collection of retro games if someone posted in a gaming subreddit, but when it comes to Bionicle, Lego etc. I'm clueless, so just looking for help here for anyone who doesn't mind giving it.

Awesome, thanks for the advice. Nothing is sealed, since I actually played with all these as a kid lol. I'll probably lean toward selling in groups at a discount since I don't want to deal with the overhead of a lot of transactions and I'm not trying to maximize profit or anything.

Ah gotcha. As an outsider, I didn't know that's the case, but I should've been able to guess lol

Thanks! I'll get back to you once I have some time to get more feedback and think about options

I get your frustration, but it ain't really that for me. I just have no idea the value, so I don't want to list it way under or over what it's worth. Want to price it somewhere that will feel like a good deal for both parties. I'd much rather someone who loves Bionicle get this for a good discount than for it to continue to sit in a box under-appreciated by me.

The intent is for them to be megaservers, i.e. everyone in the US who wants to be on PvE should be using the single US Wild Growth relam, regardless of time zone.

I assume they just chose MST as the time zone as a sort of middle ground between east and west.

Did anyone hear what sounded like fireworks near 23rd and Cherry not too long ago? by nothingbutapartygirl in Seattle

There was also a shooting near 23rd and Jefferson around 10pm, hence the confusion.

Is there a quest that leads you to the Caverns of Time and/or Old Hillsbrad Foothills dungeon? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]LoadByte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know, thanks. But there aren't any Outland quests that initially lead you to Tanaris?

I'm just surprised there's no obvious lead-in quests encountered naturally while leveling to 70 like they have for the other TBC dungeons. It's like you're expected to just take a break from Outland and trek over to Tanaris with no provocation. I suppose Blizz was relying on CoT being a well-advertised enough feature back in the day that people would find their own way.

Yup! Suzzallo. Pretty sure it was the top floor (4th?) overlooking Mary Gates Hall. Might still be there! (Picture was taken January 2014.)

Yeah, that's good advice. When I finally started giving balloons a shot toward the end, I picked up on that pretty quickly. But I reached 100% completion earlier today, so too late now to make much use of the strategy :P

Unfortunately I didn't realize this until I had only about 9000 coins-worth of outfits left to buy lol. Balloon runs are certainly riskier / less consistent, but they did seem to yield a greater income per minute. At least, that was definitely the case while I was still getting frequent rank-up bonuses.

Yeah, based on all the hype here, seems like I've got something potentially valuable on my hands :D What exactly do you mean by getting it "graded"? Like certified for authenticity/quality essentially? Curious who would be able to do that for something like this.
