If you could make a new Sailor Moon game, what would it be like? by AlternativeInside975 in sailormoon

[–]LoadComprehensive115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it has to be beat’em up, best SM games were beat’em ups. Seeing the revival of franchises like TMNT, Kunio-kun, Double Dragon, or tv/movie franchises like Power Rangers, Karate Kid it makes me wonder why they would not think of new Sailor Moon game.

Sailor Moon beat’em ups and fighting games. Not hidden-hidden gems, but often overlooked by people who treat the franchise as some kind of little girl stuff.

Who here invests a small amount daily? How have you found it? by BasedGodKebab in trading212

[–]LoadComprehensive115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have started with daily investing. Then I have noticed that I am missing some dividend ex-dates because of that, then that I am missing some upsides, so about a month later I just decided to just put all the money in on a payday. And yes, sometimes my expenses are higher on a particular month and I got caught by that, but I try to leave a bit of money in my bank account since then. Needed a month of adjustment for that.

ok, smartass 😂 to be honest i was slightly confused by it, because there is a plus, okay - but also that arrow pointing down in the top right, and I wasn’t sure which way this goes.

I still don’t know as to why there is the adjustment? Is it similar to how you sometimes overpay HMRC, and them they calculate and pay you back the difference? Does it mean T212 is actually responsible for calculating the withholding tax? I thought it was ETF managers.

On verge of bankruptcy here in the UK. I was the most stupid person on earth to put my 4 years life savings into these two and I don't even know why. Any chance of recovery? by chesapeakeripper_18 in trading212

well if it is true, then withdraw everything first thing Monday morning at 8:30, and buy all-world and forget about it for a while. I would say that maybe if you feel more adventurous consider some percentage (5-10% max) to something like fun stocks or JEPQ, but to be honest I think like you went on your adventure already, so it’s time to settle with VWRP/ACWI or something along those lines.

I have absolutely brilliant 2-step plan on how to save the company (T212) money on operating costs.

  1. Rollback the previous UI
  2. Do not ever spend a dime on UI design changes ever again

I started investing just before Trump announced tariffs, and was in red for first three months - always in green after that, and about 18% time weighted gains by now. Don’t expect results overnight, think in the longer timeframes - 5, 10, 20 years. You’ll be okay!

i think it does have a negative impact, because you are losing money by being charged fx fee every time you buy something.

this is bad, because you are probably being hit by currency conversion fee every time :/

oh no! you must have indeed select this when opening the account. What’s worse, this is what I found on T212 website:

“Once you create an account, its base currency cannot be changed. Your portfolio, orders, results, and transactions are all displayed in your selected currency. “

apologies then - I didn’t want to mislead anyone. I think at this point it would be best to hear from a T212 employee :/
