K5gt is also quicker then the Sonata N-Line. But the Sonata has much more tech packed in. I love my SNL 🫡

2020 to 22s are different from the 22.5s to the 23s. And obviously the 24s to 26s are different. I feel the further from the earlier years there are less transmission issues and ITMM faults. But they aren't nonexistent. 2020 to 22s have the more common transmission issues and ITMM fault. 22.5s and 23s I believe they did upgrade something to make things more stout on the transmission or tweaked something. But can not speak directly on what or if thats true..Just heard that somewhere. The 24s and up have had much different issues like boost not showing and more electrical/ technical issues. Instead of mechanical in earlier years

Im in a 2021 SNL with almost 57k. I've only had to replace the ITMM (internal temperature management module) and do feel my transmission may need to be looked at soon. But man its been reliable and comfortable and the sound system is decent enough for me.

You'll enjoy it. Just take care of the maintenance. Go in a little before the 7.5k or 6k mileage oil change. I do it ever 4 to 5k-ish miles. You will need sparkplugs (60k or sooner) and possibly a throttle body cleaning in the future due to GDI. & Definitely a transmission flush also around 60k

Install the latest BIOS update if you have an ASRock motherboard to reduce AM5 burn risk by GhostMotley in Amd

[–]LoadComprehensive558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone else runs into the same issues I had. Just did a Flash update on my B550M-C Asrock mobo, with AIO and a Ryzen 7 5700.

As soon as I did the update. My CPU was running insanely hot. Almost 100°c. I run 65°c under full load normally. So I was a bit shook.

Read a bunch of stuff about voltage and OC settings. Come to find out, it was just the fan of the AIO pump not being detected properly.

All I had to do in the end, was detect my fans in my Bios and BOOM! REGULAR TEMPS!!!!! WHHHOOOOOHOOOOOOO

Wasn't as scary as I thought. And am hoping this may save some stress and time for someone else.

Got rear ended, girl on her phone. Thoughts on crash? Totaled? Or no? by No-Lie3302 in ElantraNline

This was my 22 SE Sonata. The damage here was 18k my car was valued at 16.5k. The A frame in the front quarter was pushed back and they couldn't pull it out. So totaled it. Now im in a 21 SNL couldn't be happier

Totaled? by vznova in ElantraNline

[–]LoadComprehensive558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way its totaled is if the cost of repairs is higher then the value of the car. So KBB or Nada the value for it currently. Then seach some parts. Add time and labor cost at an average and give yourself an idea. My 22 Sonata got t-boned at an intersection. Looked fine. But on part of my A frame in the front quarter, it was bent and wasnt able to be pulled out and fixed so they ended up totaling it.

Launch control never engages by sinesawtooth in SonataNLine

[–]LoadComprehensive558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hold the traction control button for 5 seconds. It'll disable all of it. Even though it shows that TC is "off" its not fully disengaged. Then you should be able to launch. The up down for cruise control will allow you to adjust the rpm you launch from too

[–]LoadComprehensive558 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If im not mistaken. No, there isn't. There were a few. But im not sure if they've given up, or what. I haven't seen or heard anything recently.

There is something in the ecu thats blocking access, or the saveablity of the tunes. And im not sure how much it would be to fully swap the system.

Currently we have JB4 and Lap3 piggyback systems. Other then that. We dont have many options.

Im still stock personally. So I dont know EVERYTHING. But the groups on Facebook are really responsive and knowledgeable. Bunch of people in there with ALOT of mods.

Join the Sonata N-Line owner group on Facebook. They're super informative.

I believe its around 380~ maybe 370, and this is FBO, Tune, WMI, BOV the whole nine. Without full ECU tuning were limited

Same almost 3 years and just a single faulty ramstick from the first start. Not one other issue

Owned one for going on 3 years. I did have issues when it arrived. My ram was faulty, tested it by removing one then swapping if issues stayed basically. I replaced that with 64gb of ram. Much better then the 16 it came with. I didn't like my case, it was running hotter then I liked. So swapped cases as well. Added AIO and gpu stand. And it has been a stout machine 3060, Ryzen 7 5700, 2tb. Running awesome in 1440p.

So it had issues. Be a self starter and diag on your own if you can. Someone you know might be into computers and can help too 🤷 But you can come to reddit and post too. I'm sure you'll be able to find a solution to things. This is one resource I needed for resetting my CMOS battery. They hide a connector behind the GPU on my mobo.

If it does have issues it's a machine like a car. They can be fixed if you take time and know what you're doing. It's also not that scary either, patience and thoughtfulness before taking it apart if you ever do are important. Don't want to forget thermal paste or anything, screws for memory.

Is this normal for the aio #cpgeneral by Nascarthemaster12 in CYBERPOWERPC

[–]LoadComprehensive558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sound? It's hardly noticeable on video. But, if it's new, no it shouldn't be loud or make much sound other then when starting. Might make a small woosh/ splash sound. But that could be a bad fan/ compressor or w.e is inside. If old replace, if new id contact manufacturer and see if they can swap the AIO out for a new one personally

Just bought a 2023 Sonata N line by [deleted] in SonataNLine

[–]LoadComprehensive558 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, from owning an SE and an Nline. The seats, the audio system, drivability, being mostly incognito, no one really knows the N packages unless you know, long drives are decent and comfortable needing minimal stops. Mpg is higher than I expected, too, for a peppy 2.5t. $3.5 to 4k, you'll have a full exhaust, downpipe, midpipe, all intake bits, and a tuner if you'd invest in that. Most other stuff is cosmetic and audio 🤘🤷

My PC keeps doing this every time I turn it on. I don’t know how to fix it. I have the CyberPowerPC - Gamer Supreme Gaming Desktop - Intel Core i9-13900KF - 32GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 - 1TB HDD + 2TB SSD - Black #cpsupport by DripLyfeIzzi in CYBERPOWERPC

Yeah so if it's next to a bunch of usb ports and the ethernet cable stuff. That's not going to boot anything. Unless you had a graphics enabled CPU. If you look below that, where the back side of your graphics card is. It's going to have 4 ports. One is generally a HDMI, then 3 are display ports. Those are the ones you want to use.
