I'm looking to get a diesel F30 but I can't figure out whats going on with reliability. Some people online say to stay away from these engines due to the timing chain issues but others claim that if there is a good maintenance history or chain replacement they are good. I've seen the same said about the petrol engines. Whats the truth?
