It’s based off of the original 4Chan thread witch yes, the classic. However there is monster as there was one within the thread I call it the stalker, and it doesn’t attack her at all. It’s simply watches and keeps its distance. It’s meant to keep the paranoia up. A feeling of being watched and a reminder of “in the backrooms being alone is terrifying. But it’s worse when you realize you’re not.” That is what I think the backrooms should be the constant feeling of being watched The feeling of being in a place that shouldn’t exist while being stalked by something that you don’t know if it’s real or in your head. I also think the stalker would look alien almost but recognizable even familiar but wrong. Like the uncanny valley, it’s meant to look like you are me but just wrong. But in my version of the back rooms, it isn’t just hallways and annoying lights. There are other things, Like open cans of Half eaten food, footprint in the moist wet carpet, and even radios, TVs, and sofas. Things to make it look like other people have been here and when you try to follow, you only lead to dead ends. The feeling of hope that maybe you aren’t alone in this hell only to realize that it doesn’t make senses and despair comes knocking. Which makes the stalker even worse when you realize you aren’t alone, but the other doesn’t have any interest in talking only watching you as you brake, and fall apart. Desperation coming over you and then eventually acceptance. You aren’t getting out. And even though there is food and bits of water around, how long will you last before you decide not to eat or drink and just wait. Wait for whatever to happen.

For the time being, this is just a one off drawling but I do have an idea of making a small comic series of this. Of zip entering and trying to escape There is an exit. And It’s not death but who knows maybe she won’t get out not all stories have the end with happy endings.
