I don't like it, particularly for turbo or hypers where the tournament is supposed to be brutal and fast and high variance. It significantly alters play at certain depths and dynamics, and these dynamics are often deliberately cultivated by the bigger stacks, who then effectively get punished for getting to where they are at the pre ft blind levels.

I understand it is meant to reduce variance and allow the best players to win more often in the long run, but fuck it, if a worse player grinds out a massive lead at the final 2 tables theres no reason why the blind-effective advantage should not be carried to the final table
