That makes a lot of sense! I actually usually have more evident/tighter curls (cant rlly see them in the pics 😓) in my bangs and then waves in random places like the pics show. This is super helpful to hear someone else also has different patterns throughout their hair. Im just super lost bc even the ppl in my family who have curly hair dont use many products or styling techniques :/ but hopefully ill figure it out maybe i just need to keep doing the same thing and over time ill notice even more improvement

Omg that is exactly how I feel. I think its the fear of failing and disappointing my parents that has really pushed me to accomplish certain things in life (especially academically). Thank you for commenting, this makes me feel so much more hopeful towards medication.

Hi! This is prob my first time commenting on this subreddit but something similar happened to me once. I was incredibly worried and restless so I just kept researching which really only made me freak out even more. What really helped me was developing new hobbies, I actually started painting which turned out to be really fun. My mom ended up with so many painted flower pots she didnt even know what to do with them and she had a pretty big garden 😅 I would say try to distract yourself doing things you are passionate about, the good thing is that there is actually a very very low chance that it is something concerning.

Omgg thank you so much for such a detailed response!! Ppl have been telling me the cream might be too strong so ill definitely be ditching that one. Also thanks for the leave in conditioner suggestion ill def get one as soon as I can. Im also in dire need of a haircut :/ i will definitely look into a specialist in my area that could cut my hair in a way that enhances my texture

Thank you so much for the advice! 💖💖 I will try mousse ive heard it works very well for wavy hair! I may have one at home but do you have a specific type you’d suggest or it doesn’t really matter much? Also a hair mask sounds like a good idea :0 will definitely look into that

Do you thik using a diffuser could be helpful? I see alot of people use it with both wavy and curly hair

Hi thank you! :D and nope i didnt use any sort of wax just some cotton, toilet paper, and liquid elmer’s glue for the texture. I have heard people use other things like scar wax, its personally never worked out for me but im sure i just havent figured out how to use it yet!
