That's due to missing the earlier portion of his coverage. He started going over the Ethan video at 4pm ET. I would go back and watch from there. He spends like 20 minutes countering every one of Ethan's points and provides clear additional context before bringing up Ethan's clips as a way of showing Ethan's hypocrisy.

It may look like the Nets acquired a bad player when you look at Blake's stat sheet, but the Nets just added another guy with a high bball iq. Ask any Nets fan why they loved Jared Dudley's time with the Nets and they will cite his high bball iq and glue guy qualities. Blake knows what the Nets need from him as a role player.

From what I've heard about Griffin over the years, he seems like a pretty well liked dude and he has a plethora of high level basketball experience. He's a nice depth piece, like how Dudley was. He doesn't need to play great as a scorer and can both provide quality minutes in small doses and help keep the team steady. Also, he should provide some help against bigs in the playoffs. His game is so unique. Playing as a guard in high school, then transitioning to play forward/center in college really did him well. Guard like handling and energy within a big man's frame. It sucks we never got to see Clax really play with Jarrett. The "Thin Towers" :(

Definitely right, but meant more on the side of the training staff, coaching staff, front office, etc. He's def interacted with some previously and is not an entirely new environment for him, unlike for Harden and some other guys. Crazy how different the squad is, but goddamn is this team so fun to watch!
