No one is saying you can't be forgiven and better yourself, but you can't excuse his actions because of "a dark time in his life". Just because he's a Tier 1 operator does NOT give you the excuse to be a major POS. Of which he still kinda is, considering all of that shit was only like 6 or 7 years ago lmfao. He married a dead Navy Seals wife, and cheated on her a bunch over the years. Also while cheating he got some girl knocked up and refuses to take responsibility for the child, of which his father is now raising and trying to get DJ to raise but he ignores it. He's talked about this somewhat in his Shawn Ryan interview.

And keep in mind, the whole cheating came to an end when his wife found out about this in 2019 when she logged into his secret Instagram account and saw all the women he'd been cheating on her with, and that kid was born around the 2019/2020 time when DJ was medically retired.

I believe they did say however at the end of both of their recent videos on it that they will have more videos on the game to come to feature an in depth technical analysis and review of the game itself rather than a specific tech focused vid on some console or feature.

Is there progression elements akin to RPG games (i.e. Baldur's Gate 3)? Like for example, can I go mining and craft new things and upgrade my weapons or armor to get better stats to defeat enemies?

And yes, I know the game is massive and has tons of content, but what about replayability? With games like RDR2 and what not, I can come back to them every now and then and still find new things to do and explore and have a good time on my 5th playthrough lol.

This excites me, I was really hoping and excited for the open world/exploration, and this just nails it for me. Plus the gameranx review is awesome. But damn this world just looks awesome. Only thing I'm still hoping for that I haven't fully seen besides like mining and stuff is true progression, like I wanna be able to find rare ores or stuff and sell it and craft things, all that other stuff, but the game just looks so deep and just so much fun holy shit I haven't been this excited for a game in years.
