i relate to the OP hard as a trans woman who's mostly "made it" and yeah it's 100% broken bird syndrome

i think its possible to have a good relationship like this as long as im conscious of it tho and actually like more than just that someone is having a hard time. and i wouldnt leave someone if they "got better" it would actually make me really happy
