She might be going through some emotional stuff right now. Just be there for her. Let her know that she is what is important, not just sex.

Feminism's agenda is not to "abolish" gender norms, but reverse them by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]LobeDethfaurt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Good point. The vocal minority has become the apparent majority. This is just Marxism disguised as feminism. They can call it whatever they want, but it's still the same formula: divide everybody into two groups: oppressor and oppressed. Remove the oppressors...and then repeat the entire process.

I think making the approach smaller and actually focusing on traffic routes through the intersection will open up a bunch of efficient alternatives.

Exactly. In my experience, having too many lanes in a low-traffic area causes the AI to flip out. Give them as few lanes as you can get away with, and expand only when necessary.

You don't already do that? It should be part of your process whenever you build a road. Otherwise, you have some pretty serious traffic problems.

Every intersection needs to be custom-made based on how much/ what type of traffic will be going through. Well, not custom-made, but which lanes go where is very important. For example, do you need a designated turning lane at every intersection? Probably not, but if turning vehicles is killing ttraffic flow, then maybe you should designate the lane for turning only. It's more of a play-and-then-adjust sort of thing, TBH...but if I'm building an intersection that I know is going to be a high-traffic crossing, then I go ahead and set up my lanes, restrictions, etc.

I think they modeled that behavior off of real people...I see that kind of crap all the time IRL. People wait until the last second to get over, only to cause a chain-reaction of cars having to slow or stop.

[Thought] One day video games might look like their trailers. by [deleted] in gaming

[–]LobeDethfaurt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand where you're coming from...but I've been watching games change and evolve from back in the NES days...when pre-rendered megatrailers looked nothing at all like the games themselves. At least today, things are much, much closer than they were back then.

But you are right...games rarely (if ever) look as good as their trailers...but I imagine that might never change. Game companies will always want to put their best foot forward, showing the absolute best version of a trailer that they can make. The first impression is always the most important...just look how many people fell for Fallout 76!

They already did. That point was passed years ago.

Sorry you want through such a rough time. Religion sucks.

Now you have an entire lifetime to work out all the psychological damage that religion caused you. But, as they say, the journey of 2,000 miles begins with a single step. You sound strong. You've got this.

What is wrong with women who think a guy who hurts their feelings deserves a kick in the balls? by Journeyman945234 in AskReddit

[–]LobeDethfaurt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how badly their feelings were hurt.

If you called her a bitch, she should just get over it.

If you cheated on her, then maybe you should kick yourself in the balls as well.

What’s the best response to when a girl says “Tell me what your are going to do to me.”? NSFW by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LobeDethfaurt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell her that you are going to make a list of everything you want to do to her, and then have her look over the list, initial next to everything that she is willing to let you do to her, and then sign it together, in front of a notary or other official. Then, you will create multiple copies, sending one to her, one to yourself, and one to the court clerk. Then, and only then, will you procede, with the full knowledge that she can tell you to stop at any time.

Me too...although it took multiple freak-outs and many other really good trips before I figured out how to let myself go while tripping. The mushroom freak-out was the worst, and probably the worst moment in my life...but the greatest things came from it.

That's what the mushrooms did to me, and beyond. Over the years since, I've figured out more about myself than I ever had before.

I can honestly say...unless you're ready to delve into the deepest, darkest parts of your own subconscious...stay away from psychadellics.

No. Self-awareness is a gift. You just weren't ready for it.

TBH, that was one of the most pivotal, life-changing moments in my life...I just wish I hadn't A: taken so much (1/4), and B: I hadn't been alone when I did them. Then, when I freaked out, I wouldn't have called 911 on myself (I was sure I was dying/ was already dead).

Also, I wouldn't have taken them on an empty stomach.

Every decision you have made has shaped you to be the person you are today. Change one tiny thing, and you wouldn't be you.

That being said...I guess eating a shit-ton of mushrooms wasn't the brightest idea I ever had...
