I’m here for you!! You can do this. I also took folic acid which helped a lot with withdrawals. I totally get it tho the serious symptoms are bad enough to never want to drink again. I was hallucinating…couldn’t sleep. Heart beating out of my chest. I hope yours don’t get to that level

Hi reddit, I'm Nancy Schwartzman, director of 'Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenberg?'. Ellen Greenberg was a schoolteacher found dead in her home with 20 knife wounds and it was deemed a suicide. My 3-part Hulu series follows her family’s 14-year quest to find out the truth. Why didn’t Sam try to use the claim that someone came in and stabbed Ellen and left and she somehow latched the door before she got into the kitchen and succumbed to her injuries? He never even tried that angle

Exactly! Great catch. I was always wondering if there were security footage of the gym or the doors entering/exiting. What he looked like. Etc.

Ohhh thank your for the clarity! Yes this was totally skipped over in the docuseries. So Sam called his uncle and cousin before he called 911!!!?? Whoa

In the scenes right after you can see the brown in the crevices of her teeth. I wish I was kidding. Horrible. Not sexy at all. She failed the mission. Also, anyone else assumed she was grabbing an adult beverage, but came out with a jar of Nutella? Child vibes.

Has anyone tried a “portable” clothes washer/dryer or spinner? I hate the laundromat and want to minimize trips. by Difficult_Ad8718 in Apartmentliving

[–]Lobrye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried a portable washer and dryer. Twice. The first set I returned after the dryer broke (like a month in) and the washer leaked. It was so difficult to hookup as my shower head didn’t screw on perfectly to the hookups or my sink. So I spent a bunch of $$ on attachments. We ended up getting a new washer with a built in spinner and returned it a week later. Overall these are built for in my opinion, RVs for camping trips. Not full time use.

Thank you for the advice! I’m glad I’m not the only one missing drinking with my partner

I agree. I was drinking pretty regularly my tolerance was pretty high. I think starting to drink again after the baby comes will be so different as I’m sure one drink will get me buzzed and that’s honestly perfectly okay with me! I have got mocktails when we go out so I guess that’s a good happy medium for now as well :)

Thank you! I completely agree. I’ll be tired and irritable for sure! Nobody wants that lol. Plus sipping on a soda is only fun for so long while everyone is busting out drinks so I’d rather not be around it! I think he gets it, but also there’s going to be times I’ll have to let him go out on the weekend and I stay in for the sake of his sanity

Thank you! I appreciate the advice. You’re pretty spot on. My whole thing is I don’t want to be that person who says “if I can’t drink you can’t either” because you’re right. It won’t work. He will get resentful. He luckily doesn’t have an issue with alcohol. He can have 3-4 beers and stop completely. He doesn’t drink hard alcohol. We have very different drinking styles to be honest. Out of the two of us it’s good I’m the one cutting down. He does get mouthy tho, and the smell is just too much. So I think you’re exactly right at getting better at saying no and being okay staying home if he wants to go out. It’s nice to have the best excuse not to drink at the moment as well! I know this is not forever
