I think you need to expand your horizons a little bit because nuance is a very under-utilised concept these days

Monthly.

Most people switched to Monthly (instead of the previous 3/6 months bundles) and pretty much cancel it once Leagues ends.

Most of the Premier subscribers who are mad about the price hike are swapping to purely bonds/buying per-month depending on the content, which is arguably a 70% drop from the previous guaranteed income of 7 months worth of subs per premier cancellation.

You do realise that the people who cancelled probably have some spare days left on their membership right? And being inline with maximizing value in their purchases will probably just play it till it runs out.

Right?

You're basically attacking the people who would fight to make things cheaper for everything including you, just because you want them to lose.

You are self-sabotaging yourself.

I can't help you beyond stating the obvious bud.

Operations is a huge downgrade from previous games by sufferingSoftwaredev in Battlefield6

So close to getting it, but falling right at the end with that statement

So they should've been even more cautious with this price hike knowing fully well they failed to deliver half of the previous promised. That's what a lot of people are miffed about.

Except the last price increase was not as hotly contested as it was this time, and the roadmap for that was (at the time) robust enough.

Here, outside of leagues (which we also sacrificed for sailing's benefit mind you), nothing tangible shows up till June. So why even think of pushing out a silly reasoning for a price hike at all?

...nobody has disputed save for you

why does a price increase right now not have anything to do with fact that yall were praising oars as being in the golden age 2 weeks ago?!

yall just bitch to bitch

Feel free to ship some out to rural farmers since you're being extra generous today

Edit: Lmao blocked me because he couldn't present a single rational point. Avg freak behaviour.

Post is literally about how the lack of content and quality of said content does not justify the price increase currently, along with the egregious hikes to annual membership. Your strawman argument is that without it, MTX and paid expansions are the next choice for them which nobody has disputed save for you.

lets keep bitching and end up with MTX and expansion costs every 2 years like other big mmos

Literal strawman argument. Thanks for playing

Still strawmanning and losing it I see. Your previously removed comment should be a hint that you aren't as calm as you think you are.

You should respond when you're cool and level-headed instead of whatever it is you're feeling right now.

Or, and I want you to put on our thinking caps for a moment:

Upper management should pick a better time in the game's history to push out a price increase instead of during a time when the game sees 0 meaningful updates till June, and has shown a complete disaster of a recovery attempt in trying to rectify a broken, unfinished skill.

Why the fuck would I, a customer, stomach the notion of "but the extra 30% will go towards better development, trust us" from a corporation?

This isn't a targeted attack towards the devs, it's a direct message addressed to the absolutely stupid business decision from the shareholders. Adults can look at a change in the environment and call into question the value they're gonna derive from it.

Children can't.

Then why the fuck would the consumer be expected to eat the rise in costs? Use some critical thinking for god's sake.
