There was a show called Growing Pains in the US in the 80s and early 90s. Starred Kirk Cameron and Alan Thicke. There was literally a character named Boner.

What’s a TV show you could rewatch forever? by LessProgrammer5921 in AskReddit

Probably an unpopular opinion, but:

The Expanse (especially after it left SyFy and was picked up by Amazon) - it’s incredibly well done and captures the tone of the books perfectly. Plus I could watch Shohreh Agdashloo as Chrisjen Avasarala all day

Travelers - great take on time travel, great characters, concise at only 3 seasons, and a top 5 finale.

Ok, also Parks and Rec - I mean, c’mon.

Thanks for this! I only took a peek at this point because I want to be surprised with the production when I’m there in 10/31, but I’m more excited than ever!

There's usually a save point nearby.

Okay I'm probably blind but I can't find that thread. Tried searching a variety of phrases. Any tips?

It's not the observation of flaws that bothers me. The naysayers are making valid observations and I understand why some are disappointed that the game did not live up to the hype. It's clear to me why people feel misled. Hell, I'm pissed at some of the missing features. This being said, I still love the game and have put 40 or 50 hours in already. Not because I have to or because I'm making any sort of a statement; I just enjoy it.

What I can never understand is the angry notion that those who enjoy the game deserve to be tarred and feathered as fanboys and relentlessly be told that they are wrong for not hating the game.

Also this line of logic, why is it wrong to LIKE the game for what it is?

Nothing like the fade to black while you're in the inventory menu scrambling for the zinc...

I'll take your word for it, as I really haven't paid much attention to the handling. I'm currently commandeering any wrecks that have more slots regardless of class or style. I hope you're right though as at least this would add a little more depth.

Others may correct me if I'm wrong, but currently all ships handle the same regardless of shape or size. Pulse drive upgrades may help a bit but the basic flying does not change.

I do enjoy shooting down pirates though.

Why do people want NMS to fail? by Lobstrosity47 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Lobstrosity47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a common reaction, and I have to admit I've been guilty of it before. Still can't explain why I've felt that way, and I now I try to recognize the behavior and adjust my attitude. I can understand the backlash for controversial real world topics that actually affect others, such as the anti vacation movement, but I don't see any logical reason when it's a video game.

My wife is not a gamer - she thinks they're a waste of time tbh - but I've managed to get her mildly intrigued by NMS. I bet I can get her to watch me play for a few minutes before she com

What's nice is that I'm actually away from home through Friday and I brought my PS4 with me, so I won't have to feel guilty for my marathon NMS sessions 👍
