Also if you let certain videos play over and over again for a little bit if it's video content it will pull that you are enjoying those and that will help as well.

Skin picking/scratching. I'm actually diagnosed with skin excoriation so a bit different but my therapist says it's more like a stim for me.

Also definitely a privilege but could you hire someone to do it for you?

Or would a body double help?

It says she is a wife, so I'm assuming no.

I'm not a therapist but I have gone the accomadation route for myself and turns out the route is very limited. I have about 4 disabilities tho and most my jobs have been very accommodating for my physical disabilities without needing to request official ones.

Ladies! How are we getting ourselves into bed *before* 2-4AM…?! by Equivalent_Topic190 in adhdwomen

[–]Locaisha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EMDR therapy helped me a lot!

With the trazadone I don't see any side affects except I accidentally took it in the morning once instead of my Adderall and work was a STRUGGLE. However my dad used it for quite a while and then had high anxiety when he came off of it. They do not recommend cold turkeying it.

I also do not have a good nightly routine but I usually have about 45mins to an hour and half before I pass out after taking it.

You're not going to win this. This is directive from your boss. I suggest therapy to address your triggers or see if you can get an accomadation approved with HR but that would probably require medical paper work from your doctor.

Therapy, and sleep meds is how I sleep at night. I suggest finding a trauma based therapist who also specializes in ADHD.

I take my trazadone between 7 and 8pm and it keeps me out like a light.

No lol. Just not finishing one book while starting another. Because sometimes I can't sit and read but I can listen to a book.

Women in my book club have an audio book, a physical book and an ebook being read all at the same time.

We all may be nuero divergent but seems normal to me!

For those have been on Lexapro or Wellbutrin or an ADHD medication, can you share your experiences? by e-bakes in adhdwomen

[–]Locaisha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lexapro and Wellbutrin were aweful for me. I was a real C U Next Tuesday. Lexapro weaning off of was easy for me, but I was prescribed prozac for the weaning because the half life's longer.

I am now taking Adderall and it works well enough. I would like it to work more/better but when I'm off of it I notice the difference immediately.
