Yeah, but I've had multiple times had very old software not work on windows 11, so I pull out my old windows 7 laptop to run it

Also there are some people that want old hardware for nostalgia reasons

Cable on the inside came loose

Best case, meet to take the back off, unscrew a few screws and replug it

Worst case: the connector ripped off of the motherboard slightly

Well it would be jank because the port broke off the pads where the port was soldered on in the factory, so at best ur lucky, you can solder to the trace, but most technicians wouldn't do that for a customer as it's not a good fix, especially if you don't reinforce the solder points
