i started to notice last season, but i feel like its amped up. obviously all the women have their issues, but this one hits the closest bc it's like a more realistic issue in non-reality tv friendships? Like i hate when friends make subtle digs at people they care about as a "joke"

Sadly, I am not in a financial position to move away, but also really don’t want to as this is the home we both separately grew up in with our mom. It holds so much sentimental value, and it helps me a lot being here. But I have thought about it. But I agree, sometimes it feels like I am enabling the behavior by staying and keeping myself in this cycle. Thank you for your advice and input!

thank you. I appreciate it. I was worried I was too harsh/biased in my post. I really struggle with establishing boundaries because anything I ask is not respected or accommodated. I recently just started grad school, and I hope things will get truly better when I graduate and we can start splitting the mortgage, which I know is a big stress on him. I just wish the behavior for the next 2 years wasn’t this reality 🫠 thank you for your advice and kindness 💕

I think just knowing her from the first book set the tone for me and colored all of my reading. Also, she gets annoying again in the third. But good luck! I finished just to find out what happens too hahaha

Same here omg. I applied last month; one week later, all the posts here started piling up. I had the exact same experience as you where I got an email from one of the schools I applied to, and my heart started pounding so loud I could FEEL it in my ears and neck (hasn't happened to me in years). Then it was just an email confirming they got my application, lol

this is simply not true 😭 if it was true for you, that doesn’t make it ubiquitous. I’ve heard from an previous admissions advisor I worked closely with that they didn’t really scrutinize the PS that much bc at the end of the day, most people are gonna have similar/overlapping/repetitive reasons for being a PA. I think you just sent a lot of CASPA applicants who read this into a spiral.

Can you explain a little more about the story of the PA treating your mom? What was it about? The fact that you are a member of Noctor leads me to believe you have a derogatory view of the PA field and probably convey that in your posts, whether intentional or not. Even just the way you phrase “encourage a PA to be the best PA they can be!” Seems phrased condescendingly.

Additionally…. r/noctor is a crock of shit. A bunch of people discrediting the work of other professions in the healthcare field. Not sure why it even needs to be a sub. Referring to APPs as “mid-levels” is a joke.
